Edward E. Mullen, MDEdward E. Mullen, MD, is Director of Radiation Oncology at South Nassau and Co-Medical Director of the Long Island Gamma Knife©. He earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Virginia, and completed residency training in radiation oncology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Prior to entering into private practice at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, Dr. Mullen engaged in extensive clinical research and performed gamma knife surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, site of the first gamma knife in the United States. He has specialized in the advanced technologies of therapeutic radiation oncology. Dr. Mullen joined South Nassau in 2000 and continues to engage in identifying, procuring and making use of the latest radiation oncology equipment and technology for South Nassau. |
