Joe Presser

Director of Physics

Joe Presser is the Director of Physics of the Radiation Oncology Department, Long Island Gamma Knife® Center and New York Prostate Institute. Joe has worked previously at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and New York Presbyterian Hospital. With over fifteen years of experience in medical physics, Joe oversees the quality assurance of the Radiation Therapy and Gamma Knife programs. This includes everything from calibration and testing of equipment to ensuring accuracy for every individual patient treatment.
